Mariah R. Schiff
Attorney
Attorney Mariah R. Schiff is proud of her Mexican-American roots. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She attended undergrad at Middle Tennessee State University, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, with a concentration in Pre-Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish.
Following her passion for law, Mariah moved to South Florida to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. During law school, Mariah served as President of the Immigration Law Organization. She also interned with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of the Principal Legal Advisors at the Krome Detention Facility in Homestead, Florida. Mariah also served as a bilingual editor of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law Journal and participated on the Negotiation competitive team. In 2017, Mariah graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Cum Laude.
Mariah’s primary focus is on Immigration and Nationality law. Mariah represents clients with their immigration needs nationwide and abroad. Her practice focuses on family-based immigration, removal defense, asylum, and helping victims of crimes.
Apart from her legal practice, Mariah enjoys running, competing in 5K races, traveling, and snorkeling. Mariah is a member of the American Lawyers Immigration Association, Broward County Hispanic Bar Association, and the Young Lawyer Division. Mariah is also a mentor with Big Brother Big Sister of Broward County.

Chris-Ann Benny
Paralegal
Chris-Ann Benny is a dedicated paralegal with over four years of experience. Chris-Ann brings a unique perspective and deep empathy to her role at the firm. Having immigrated to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago at the age of 12, she possesses firsthand knowledge of the complexities and challenges faced by those navigating the U.S. immigration system. This personal experience fuels her commitment to supporting clients through their legal journeys.
Chris-Ann works closely with Attorney Schiff on each case, ensuring thorough and compassionate service. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her son and going to the beach.
